A Grim Pet: Tornians Book 6

The Great Raptor is a fearsome and deadly creature; and while the Raptor is no one’s pet, he is fiercely protective and loving of his family…

Carly and Miki have never forgotten the stories that Grim has told them of the Great Raptor, the symbol of their new home world of Luda. Yet, it is the comparison their mother once made of the Great Raptor to Grim that gives them the courage to help the injured bird they find in the garden.

Find out what happens when their single act of love, faith, and kindness creates far-reaching consequences that no one, including their mother and Grim, could ever have predicted.

  1. I got the story by getting the book months ago; wish I knew it was going to come out by itself.
Miss Eidem, will there be an audiobook for this story? I love Grim and have all your books from the Tornians to Kaliszians. I definitely can’t wait for more on them.

    1. Hi Angie,
Eventually I want to combine A Grim Holiday, A Grim Pet, and A Grim Baby(when its written) into one audio.
I’m not sure how long ‘Baby’ will be yet but between the three stories it should be a good length for audio.

      1. Thank you for the information Miss Eidem!!! I am thrilled to know we’ll have another audiobook for Grim at some point.

I keep listening to Gray’s story as well as the Kaliszians over and over again. They are a way for me to relax, while cleaning, cooking, or even while I’m just enjoying crocheting.

Thank you for your gift us.

  2. Hm, it is the same story as in “Embrace the Romance: Pets in Space 2” or an extended version?
Just in case, since I’m one who buys sometimes accidently books I already own… 🙂
If it is the same: loved it!

I really enjoy those universes you’re creating in the Imperial Series and Tornian & Kaliszian books.
And even more the audio books with several narrators, which are almost like old audio dramas!

And that was a question I always wanted to ask or was missing to find an answer in older comments:
Was it your choice to use several narrators to differ in male/female/kid-roles?

    1. Silke,
It is the same book, I forgot to put that in the description. Thanks for the reminder.
As to you narrator question. It was my choice to use male/female and the fx. As I got more comfortable with audio and my narrator got to know me we were able to add more and more narrators.
I love the texture it gives the stories. I also love the music Ian, my narrator, created just for me.

  3. Will A Grim Baby be your next release? Or another Tornian/Kaleszan novel?

I’m absolutely dying worrying about Ull and the “cost” little Miki and her loved ones may pay.

Your universe is a wonderful place for me to escape to—thank you for sharing it with us.

    Sherry

    1. Ull will be first Sherry. I’m hoping ‘Baby’ will be next. That’s my plan unless a shorter story needs to be told before it.

  4. Hi I love all of your stories. Grim is my favorite but I love the imperial series and wondered if you will be writing about them again as well. Do you have a calendar or plan in what order we can expect your wonderful stories? Like most others your characters are easy to love and your stories are a much needed escape. Thanks

  5. Of course, I made sure to purchase Pets in Space so I could read A Grim Pet. It was great! I was amazed by the turn that happened in the lives of the girls. I hope little Miki will receive something positive in her life for the “gift” that she was given.

Readers, if you haven’t read it yet, get A Grim Pet to keep up with those Tornians and Kaliszians!

MKE: I’m so happy you’re considering putting the novellas in an audiobook. I’ll be watching and hoping;-)). And thanks for that wonderfully, crazily creative mind!

    1. Hi Carla,
I think you are seeing that I did some renumbering.
A Grim Holiday and Oryon were both .5 books and I decided it was time to get rid of the 1/2’s.

  6. Can you tell us when Stephanie’s story is coming out… I watched your video and I think it said in the beginning of March.. Can you give us the approximate date.. We have been eagerly waiting for that book as well as Callen’s and the next book to flow Treyvon’s story.. We purchased all your books in every series when they came out.. I love you writing. They only series that ( and I’m not saying I don’t like it) comes off different to me is the series starting with Kirall’s kiss…. Something seems different somehow.. We kind of started a over the internet book club with our large family and friends we live all over the country and it seems to be growing but you are one of our top authors so I’m getting asked a lot of questions I guess since I somehow started it all…lol.. So I was hoping maybe you could help me out with some of the questions… Thank you.. Please never stop sharing your gift of writing with us..
